Jesus says in the gospels that many are called, but few are chosen, that ye must be born again.
Ye will know them by their fruit – those who are actually baptised with the Holy Spirit become a new creature in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:17).
I don’t believe everyone can be saved, and definitely not the inverts. The scriptures are clear that there are some vessels created unto honour, some dishonour . Vessels of mercy, and vessels of wrath fitted to destruction. Children of God, and children of Satan.
The ones who will be saved God has chosen from before the foundation of the world.
Romans 9:18-24
18 Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth.
19 Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will?
20 Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus?
21 Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?
22 What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:
23 and that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,
24 even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?
“By grace are ye saved through faith” – not by faith through grace, meaning it is God’s grace that gives you that saving faith.
You don’t choose God, he chooses you. That’s why we are “called”, his “elect”, who the Father “predestinated” / “before ordained” / “afore prepared unto glory”.
You are saved by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8-9), but you can’t have faith in the gospel of Jesus Christ unless the Father gives it to you.
We are “the called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28).
“No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him…” (John 6:44)
“… no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.” (John 6:65)
“… he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world …” (Ephesians 1:4)
“Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,” (Ephesians 1:5)
“In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:” (Ephesians 1:11)
“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” (Ephesians 2:10)
“… and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.” (Acts 13:48)
“Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,” (2 Timothy 1:9)
“… no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.” (1 Corinthians 12:3)
“For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.” (2 Corinthians 4:6)
“In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;” (2 Timothy 2:25)
To be saved you must be actually born again (John 3:3), a new creature in Christ Jesus from one day to the next (2 Corinthians 5:17).
You don’t choose God at whatever time of your choosing, he chooses you (“elect”).
2 Thessalonians 2:13-14
13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
14 Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Just like some are created “unto good works”, there are also vessels of wrath “fitted to destruction”:
Romans 9:22-23
22 What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:
23 And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,
“For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.” (Romans 8:29-30)
“For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.” (Romans 12:3)
“But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” (1 Corinthians 2:14)
“For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:” (1 Corinthians 1:26)
“For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.” (Acts 2:39)
“Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.” (Acts 2:47)
“… helped them much which had believed through grace:” (Acts 18:27)
“What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded (according as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.” (Romans 11:7-8)
“For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.” (Romans 11:32)
Not everyone are Jesus sheep:
“But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:” (John 10:26-27)
“For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.” (Jude 4)
Just as there are children of God, there are children of Satan who grow up all around us – Jesus talks about this in the wheat and tares parable.
I believe today’s inverts are the equivalent of the tares who were burned at the end of the world:
Matthew 13:38-43
38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;
39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.
40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.
41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;
42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
